Time Out For Women!

Talk about a great time with the girls! Fifteen of us gals from the neighborhood took a little trip down to Vegas for the Time Out For Women conference. No shopping (Can you believe it), but plenty of eating, uplifting music, inspiring speakers, and laughter!!!
All fifteen of us at The Cheesecake Factory prior to coming home-ummm, ummm good!
We even got to have a little birthday celebration for Julie and Mary...good timing girls!

Eleven of us went down Friday afternoon so that we could attend the Friday evening session as well as the Saturday session. We heard a lot fom Hillary Weeks (both through song and the spoken word) and another band (can't remember their names, oops!), but they did Joseph-A Tribute to Nashville. Not what I was expecting, but still enjoyable! Who couldn't have a great time with such Wonderful company!?
My cousin Kandace came with our group and we ran into some long-time friends. Krystal and Heather (in the middle) are great friends from high school. It was so good to see them and chat for a few minutes. I was also able to visit with their mom, Karen Esplin, who has been undergoing tx for cancer. She looked great and was so positive, what a special treat to see them all!
Friday night, we decided to top things off with a trip to P.F. Changs around midnight! The lettuce wraps were awesome and the Great Wall of China (huge, moist, layered chocolate cake with raspberry sauce) was delightful!
Here's some of the gals enjoying the speakers! Ha/Ha :) It was a bit of a late night...can you tell!?
I had a FABULOUS time...the company was second to none! Thanks gals...let's do this again soon! We missed all those that couldn't make the trip from the neighborhood-the more the marrier (s/p?)-come go next time, it'll be in St. George next year!!!
One of my favorite speakers of the trip was Amanda Dickson, she was a little wacky, but had some very valid comments! One thing in particular that she said was, "Your best is good enough!" Something that I think every women needs to be reminded of from time to time!

Oh Gen, how fun for you all A bunch of my friends and I had tickets to this back in I think it was March, but it got cancelled due to Pres. Hinckley's death. I was so bummed, but totally understood the cancellation. I'm glad you all got to go, it is rare that that many women can all get a weekend off together. It looks like such a fun neighborhood. I sure miss you guys.

You should be spanked for putting that picture up with me in it. Do I really look that huge? Argh! Well, you look great in the pics, and it was so fun to see you, and Cheesecake Factory is sounding pretty good about now!

I love "Time Out for Women". I've been to the one down in PHX for several years now & it is SO uplifting! It's a wonderful program - the only thing to make it better would be to go with you!
